I needed a budget model and I raised it with SAFI. What I was trying to do was to adjust my previous model to fit the circumstances here. They looked at what I was trying to do and felt that it was too complicated and came up with a better option.
The budget model has improved business efficiency 100%. They\'ve never had anything like that here before, and I have meetings with cabinet, the assembly, I just get my laptop and a datashow and I can go and do presentations to anyone and be seen in a very credible light. And people can understand it because they can see it right there in front of them. And if someone wants to see their particular departments finances for arguments sake, its just the click of a button. If they want to see a comparison between last years and this year\'s budget or variance analysis - just click a button.
Changes in the past were very time consuming, whereas with this budget model - you can go into the data table and make the changes then and there. And it is updated automatically. It\'s very user friendly.

Everyone that has seen it has said WOW what an awesome website! and very jealous, words like classy, very professional, very creative, posh, beautiful’, and ’oh dear, I really must do something about our website etc. Also a smaller point but nonetheless important, we’ve had exactly the same reaction to our new business cards which Toby helped us with and designed them to tie in with our website homepage. Everybody has again reacted the same way ’WOW’, ’classy’, ’very professional’, ’very creative’, ’posh’, ’beautiful’, and ’oh dear, I really must do something about our business cards’ .so again I have got to tell you Tim, it’s been an overwhelming success.
It has done wonders for lifting our whole company image with both our existing suppliers and customers, and for those meeting us for the first time, it makes a huge statement for us and conveys a high degree of confidence that we are worth doing business with. We have secured a number of new international suppliers at the show in Germany and as exciting (even more so actually), we have picked up several new major international customers, so the fair for us was a resounding success and I found myself constantly showing people our website or referring people to it, as a tool to use when being asked ’who we were’ and ’what did we do’ etc.
Our major customers are very excited about the personalized interactive feature to our website. Having their own logon and being able to see the progress being made on their customized products, the ’work in progress’ as it were, is a real bonus and a very useful tool which they are most impressed about.
Tim, I can honestly say it has been worth every cent we have spent to get this magnificent website ’on-line’. It is fantastic.
